Q: Are the EviMed services only for physicians?
A: No – we also provide services that can be used by other healthcare professionals such as study nurses, local site investigators and trial sponsors.
Q: Are there any EviMed services for patients?
A: No – we currently only provide services for healthcare professionals. We do however support an information service for German breast cancer patients provided by our partner the German Society for Senology. The service's central functions are based on the EviMed technology platform for recruitment and management of clinical trials. (brustkrebs-studien.de)
Q: How does the services work, do I need to buy any hardware or download any software?
A: No – EviMed services are all cloud-based which means that there is no need to setup, install or maintain any hardware or software in order to use the EviMed services. All you need is an EviMed account, internet access and an updated web browser
Q: Can I try the EviMed services?
A: Yes – in our demo centers you can experience the services and the functionality of each service. You cannot change or edit any of the information in the demo centers; it is just for you to navigate through the many different features that the Patient Manager and Trial Supervisor services have to offer.
Q: How do I access the demo center?
A: You have to create a demo account (free-of-charge and can be done here) and once you have your username and password you can sign in by clicking the link in the top right corner of the browser window.
Q: How long does it normally take to create a demo account and receive password?
A: Normally, the process just takes a few minutes
Q: Are the EviMed services free?
A: The EviMed services are offered at a nominal monthly fee. Please contact one of our representatives to discuss further details and options.
Q: I want to become a user, what do I do?
A: If you have registered for a demo account, please go to the demo center, click "Add Center" and follow the instructions. If you have any questions you can also use the contact us form.
