EviMed Online GmbH is a provider of innovative cloud based services in oncology that offer healthcare professionals unique services for patient management and clinical trial management including valuable functions for personalized treatment planning, trial recruitment and efficient management tools for clinical trials.
Guided by years of experience, the EviMed founders initiated the initial market research to investigate and identify the market potential for their envisioned healthcare information service. A great market need was identified for an improved way to search for patient-matched treatment information within oncology, as the current method was too time-consuming and inefficient.
EviMed was founded in Cologne, Germany in 2009 with the vision to transform information management and communication in healthcare and by combining our medical knowledge and our advanced IT capabilities we started to develop the EviMed oncology information system. The system offered innovative patient management tools and a unique search service that, based on the individual patient's data, provided the user with personalized and evidence-based treatment options from leading scientific journals.
Similarly, EviMed is able to offer tools to improve the patient recruitment process for clinical trials in oncology. The services present the match between patient's data and clinical trial options, by checking inclusion and exclusion criteria automatically.
